Read the FoodSafety HQ dashboard with confidence. Understand the compliance gauge, daily stats, urgent alerts, activity feed and multi-venue selector.
Your compliance command centre The dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in to FoodSafety HQ. It gives you a real-time snapshot of how your venue — or every venue you manage — is tracking against today's food safety tasks. Instead of flipping through a paper diary, you get one screen that answers a single question: are we compliant right now? Every panel on the dashboard updates in real time as staff log checks. The compliance gauge The circular compliance gauge at the top shows your overall compliance rate as a percentage. It compares the number of completed checks against the total expected checks for the day across your selected venues. Green (80–100%): On track — most checks are done Amber (50–79%): Some checks are still outstanding Red (0–49%): A significant number of checks are incomplete Tip: The gauge resets each day. A quick glance first thing in the morning and again before close tells you whether the shift has kept up with its checks. Operational stats Four tiles summarise the day's activity so you don't have to dig through logs: Total Venues: How many venues are linked to your account Completed Today: Checks finished so far today Pending Today: Checks still waiting to be completed Open Actions: Unresolved corrective actions across your venues Urgent alerts The alerts section surfaces the things most likely to bite you at an inspection, before they become a problem: Expiring inventory: Items in your waste & expiry tracker expiring within the next 3 days Expiring certifications: Team certifications — such as a Food Safety Supervisor qualification — expiring within 30 days Acting on these early keeps stock rotating and ensures you always have a currently certified supervisor on record. Activity feed The activity feed at the bottom lists your most recent log entries and open corrective actions in chronological order. Each item is clickable, so you can jump straight to a failed check or an unresolved action to review or close it out. Switching between venues If you run more than one site, use the venue selector in the sidebar to switch between individual venues or choose "All Venues" for a consolidated, group-wide view. The gauge, stats and alerts all update to match your selection. Switch between a single site and an all-venues rollup from the sidebar. Mid-shift: Watch "Pending Today" so no check slips past its window. Close: Confirm the gauge is green and no corrective actions are left open. Ready to start recording?
