Understanding the FoodSafety HQ Dashboard

Read the FoodSafety HQ dashboard at a glance: compliance gauge, checks completed and pending, expiring stock and certificates, open corrective actions and the live activity feed.

The FoodSafety HQ dashboard is your real-time command centre: it shows the day's compliance percentage, what's been done and what's still due, urgent alerts, and a live feed of recent activity. Learning to read it takes a minute and tells you instantly whether your venue is on track. Everything you need to judge today's status is on one screen. The compliance gauge The gauge shows the percentage of today's scheduled checks that are complete for the selected venue. It climbs as your team records checks through the day. If it's stuck low late in a shift, checks are being missed — tap through to see which. Operational stats The stat tiles summarise the numbers that matter: Venues — how many venues you manage (multi-venue accounts can switch between them). Completed today — checks recorded so far. Pending today — checks still due before end of day. Open corrective actions — issues raised by failed checks that haven't been resolved. Urgent alerts Alerts surface things that need attention before they become a problem: inventory expiring soon , staff certifications (including Food Safety Supervisor certificates) approaching expiry, and any venue with no certified FSS on record. Acting on these early keeps you compliant and audit-ready. The activity feed The live feed lists recent check entries — who recorded what, when, and whether it passed. It's the fastest way to confirm the morning round actually happened and to spot patterns (for example, a fridge that's often borderline). Switching venues If you run more than one site, use the venue selector to change which venue the dashboard reflects. Each venue has its own gauge, stats and alerts. See Managing Multiple Venues for more. Frequently asked questions Why is my compliance gauge not at 100%? The gauge reflects today's scheduled checks that are still incomplete. It reaches 100% once every check due for the selected venue today has been recorded. If it stays low, open the checks screen to see which checks are outstanding. What counts as an "open corrective action"? When a check fails (for example a fridge above 5°C), FoodSafety HQ raises a corrective action so the issue is recorded and resolved. It stays "open" until someone records the action taken. See Managing Corrective Actions . Does the dashboard update in real time? Yes. As your team records checks on their phones, the gauge, stats and activity feed update so you always see the current status of the selected venue. Can I see the dashboard for all my venues at once? The dashboard shows one venue at a time via the venue selector. For a cross-venue view of performance and trends, use the Insights page.
